Core item fields and DB-authoritative editing workflow.

Admin Studio supports quick creation and detailed editing. Depending on the item, common fields include:

  • canonical item name and label;
  • category;
  • weight/stack/close behavior;
  • image and presentation properties;
  • internal/external use behavior;
  • metadata defaults/schema/display rules;
  • durability and expiration/lifecycle behavior;
  • container settings;
  • rarity;
  • provider ownership/source state.

After a DB-backed admin edit, the database definition is intended to remain authoritative across restarts instead of being overwritten by a runtime registration using the same canonical name.
