Forge Discord Bot

Forge Discord Bot

Nord Forge includes an optional Discord bot integration.

The bot is intentionally decoupled from the core Forge platform.

If Discord or the bot process is offline, the following continue to work:

  • Marketplace
  • Licenses
  • Releases
  • Downloads
  • Documentation

Supported bot features

  • Release/changelog update notifications
  • Release file replacement events
  • Optional purchase-completed events
  • Discord ticket creation
  • Ticket panel publishing
  • Bot heartbeat/status in Forge

Workspace connection

Workspace owners connect Discord from the infrastructure/Discord area using an OAuth bot invitation.

The platform administrator configures the single global Forge Bot application and token.
